COEUR, D'ALENE, Idaho. - The FBI is investigating a bank robbery after the Washington Trust Bank in downtown Cd'A was robbed Tuesday afternoon.

Police say the white male suspect entered the bank, in the 200 block of E. Lakeside, around 12:40 p.m.

The man, in his early 30s, was last seen on foot walking through the Las Palmitas parking lot off of 3rd. He then turned east in front of the Torch Lounge and witnesses lost sight of him.

The suspect was described as being 5'10" with an average build. He was wearing jeans, a dark blue jacket and a hat that was light gray with a tan bill.

Police had set up a perimeter around the bank earlier in the afternoon.
