Jordan Vernon, 20, is already accused of having sex with at least two girls and having inappropriate contact with others. The age of the girls ranged from 12 to 17, according to Police detective Sgt. Dave Beck. Beck says Vernon served as a volunteer student leader at Real Life Ministries in Post Falls.>>

Jordan Vernon is facing charges including Sexual Abuse of a Child under 16 and Statutory Rape. Police say Vernon created a MySpace web page under a false name on which he posted pictures of himself engaged in sexual activity with a 14-year-old girl.>>

SPOKANE, Wash. - A 20-year-old former Post Falls church volunteer accused of raping teen girls is back in jail on new charges.

Jordan C. Vernon was arrested Tuesday on three counts of felony rape of a minor. He's in Kootenai County Jail on $100,000 bail.

Vernon faces five additional rape charges stemming from his first arrest on Dec. 28, said Dave Beck, a detective/sergeant with the Post Falls Police Department.

Tuesday around 5:30 p.m., a driver in a truck was traveling westbound on Upriver Drive when they crossed over the center line.
