Two arrested, one at large in Whitman Co. burglary

WHITMAN COUNTY, Wash. - Two Spokane men were arrested Tuesday, and deputies are looking for one more in the Auvil Warner Rd. burglary investigation in Whitman County.

Sheriff's deputies say William McBride of Oakesdale and Denny Baldwin of Spokane are believed to be involved in the January 21 burglary, which involved the theft of materials worth more than $50,000 dollars. An arrest warrant has also been issued for Ryan Williams of Spokane in connection with this burglary.

Most of the stolen property has been recovered.

Whitman County Sheriff's Deputies have also arrested Denny Chain of Oakesdale in a separate property crime incident. According to sheriff's deputies, Chain was arrested after attempting to sell property stolen in connection with another burglary on January 3rd in Spangle.

    SPOKANE, Wash. - "He was my youngest, he was my baby bear," Tina Myer said about her son that was killed by a distracted driver. It was a distracted driver that killed Tina Myer's son Cody, hitting the 23-year-old as he was working as a flagger at a construction site in December 2015. He suffered severe injuries, and died several months later. Now Myer is joining Governor Inslee, praising a new DUI-E law.

    COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho - If you're planning on doing some outdoor activities on Canfield Mountain this weekend, listen up! The U.S. Forest Service wants the public to avoid the upper parking area and trail system on the mountain for the time being. An aggressive sow bear with a cub (possibly more than one cub) has been reported on the Cave Trail.
