DENVER, Colo. - Police in Ireland are refusing to identify any of the seven people arrested in an alleged plot to assassinate a Swedish cartoonist. But an American woman in Colorado says her daughter is one of the seven.

Christine Mott says she was told of the arrest of her 31-year-old daughter, Jamie Paulin-Ramirez, by U.S. law enforcement agencies.

She says her daughter had been a straight-A nursing student before she abruptly left Colorado last fall with her 6-year-old son and turned up in Ireland. She says her daughter later told her she had married an Algerian whom she met online.

Mott says she's concerned not only about her daughter, but also her grandson, who has been placed in the custody of Ireland's foster care system. Irish police say three of those arrested have been released without charges, while three other men and an American woman remain in custody.

The cartoonist was allegedly targeted because he'd drawn a sketch depicting the head of the Muslim prophet Muhammad on a dog's body.

NOT in a microwave. For this reason a new prank-challenge going around on Facebook is resulting in some hilarious text conversations between mothers and their grown children.
