Volleyball injury turns fatal for Gonzaga student
TRI-CITIES, Wash. (AP) - The friends and family of a 22-year-old Gonzaga student from the Tri-Cities are shocked by her sudden death in Spokane.
The medical examiner's office says Lacey Jo Rosenbaum died Tuesday night at Sacred Heart Medical Center from a blood clot following knee surgery March 9 for torn cartilage.
Her mother, Lynda Rosenbaum, told the Tri-City Herald she needed surgery for a volleyball injury.
