Idaho gas prices climb to $3 per gallon

BOISE, Idaho (AP) - The price of gas in Idaho has climbed to $3 per gallon for the first time in more than a year and the state now ranks sixth highest nationwide.

The AAA Idaho survey shows the average price per gallon in the Gem State went up 22 cents in the past month, well above the national average of $2.84 per gallon.

Idaho's gas prices haven't been at the $3 mark since October 2008.
