During his attempt to flee, the suspect dropped the purse.  The victim retrieved her purse and left the area as police officers were detaining the suspect.  Officers were unable to locate her.  Spokane Police would like the public's assistance in locating the victim so robbery charges can be filed.

The victim was described as a middle aged Asian female, possibly Southeast Asian,  leaving the area of the convenience store located on Monroe at Frederick.    Please call 911 or Crime Check  at   456 2233 with any information.
