Detectives Searching for Vehicle Involved in Car Jacking

Official Press Release: Spokane Police Major Crimes detectives are looking for the victims' vehicle that was involved in a car jacking on 05/27/10 around 3:10 pm. The vehicle is described as a gray 2008 Buick Lucerne, WA plates #330YNF.

Officers responded to the K-Mart located at 6606 N Division where the victims stated after shopping they walked to their car in the parking lot. Once in the car a male opened the driver's side door, pulled out a gun, shoved it in the victim's side and told her to move over.

The victim told the male she couldn't move because of the center console so the male demanded that she get out. She got out of the car with her purse in hand. The male grabbed the purse out of the victim's hand, got into the car and drove off.

The second victim in the car was able to get out while the male was yelling at the driver.

Anyone with information on this case or the whereabouts of the listed vehicle is asked to call Crime Check at 456-2233.
