KHQ.Com Exclusive: Spokane County Deputy Resigns; Put Uniformed Photo on Porn Site

SPOKANE, Wash. -  A Spokane County Corrections Deputy who worked in the Spokane County Jail, resigned his position after an internal investigation uncovered that he took a photo of himself in uniform and in the jail and posted it on adultfriendfinder.com, which is an adult site for men and women to meet for sex.

The Deputy in question denied that he posted the photo, instead claiming that a friend posted it and had somehow gained access to his account, user name and password.

A public records request made by KHQ on the investigation last year also uncovered documents that show this Deputy told a female acquaintance that he "could do whatever he wanted because law enforcement had a brotherhood and they would protect (him)". The Deputy also said he was "immune to investigation" because of his position with the Sheriffs Office and that he "could kill someone and get away with it unless someone actually saw (him) do it."

Sheriff Ozzie Knezovich proceeded with termination actions, but the Deputy resigned his position in lieu of being fired.
