7 High School Seniors Arrested For Prank

EVERETT, Wash. (AP) - Seven Everett High School seniors were arrested for a prank two days before graduation.

The Daily Herald reports they had poured bleach on the lawn to burn "2010" in the grass, pulled up shrubs and dragged them through a window early Thursday when officers responded to an alarm.

The seven were arrested for investigation of trespassing and malicious mischief.

Everett Public Schools spokeswoman Mary Waggoner says the seven were expelled along with three others who were involved.

She wouldn't say whether the teens were allowed to participate in Saturday's graduation ceremony.
