Body Identified Found Under Sunset Bridge; Police Need Your Help

SPOKANE, Wash. - Spokane Police Major Crimes Detectives need assistance locating the vehicle belonging to the man found near Latah Creek yesterday morning. 

The vehicle is a 2007 white Mercury Mariner - WA license plate 378-YVZ.

The victim has been identified as 38-year-old William P. Pickard. The Major Crimes Unit is investigating the suspicious death as a homicide at this point and the investigation is continuing.

Anyone who has any information about the whereabouts of the vehicle or the incident itself is asked to call Crime Check 456-2233.

SPOKANE, Wash. - Spokane Police say an autopsy will determine the identity and cause of death of a man found in High Bridge Park on Wednesday. A man in the park found under Sunset Bridge just after 10 o'clock this morning.

 
Detectives believe the man went over the side of the bridge.  They are unsure whether he committed suicide or was killed.
 
The south sidewalk over the bridge was closed for several hours, as was a section of the park, while detectives searched for clues.
