NASSAU, Bahamas (AP) - Authorities in the Bahamas say the Washington state teen police call the "Barefoot Bandit" has been deported just hours after his guilty plea Tuesday to illegally entering the country.

Colton Harris-Moore was arrested Sunday in the Bahamas, where police ended the 19-year-old convict's alleged two-year crime tear.

The charge stemming from his alleged crash of a stolen plane on Great Abaco Island carries a $300 fine, which his attorney says the U.S. Embassy will pay.

Harris-Moore is suspected in about 70 property crimes in British Columbia and across eight states, including Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Wyoming.

Authorities say he earned the "Barefoot Bandit" nickname by committing some crimes while shoeless.

He's expected to make an initial court appearance in Florida before being flown back to Seattle.
