18 Year Old Driver Charged with Vehicular Assault After Crash on 395

DEER PARK, Wash. - 18 year-old Cheyenne Drinkhall is being charged with vehicular assault after driving under the influence and injuring herself, along four other people in a collision on Highway 395, just north of Deer Park, Saturday night.

According to Washington State Patrol, Drinkhall was traveling northbound on Highway 395 and attempted turn onto Wallbridge Road. While negotiating the turn, Drinkhall's 1994 Jeep Cherokee struck a 2002 Volkswagen Golf, with four passengers inside. Drinkhall, along with three passengers in the Volkswagen Golf were transported by ambulance to a local hospital. The fourth passenger, Brittany Ostlund, 18, was airlifted by Medstar to a Spokane hospital. Her condition as of Sunday evening was listed as satisfactory.

All parties involved were wearing seatbelts. Both cars were totaled.
