UPDATE: Authorities Find Missing Rafter
SPOKANE, Wash. - The search for a missing 32 year-old man in Riverside State Park ended at around 11:15 Monday night. Authorities found the man alive and well.
The Spokane Fire Department is searching for a missing person in Riverside State Park, near the Bowl and Pitcher area. According to witnesses, a 32 year-old man was rafting down the river and his girlfriend was suppose to pick him up at 8:45 pm Monday night, however he never showed up. He was last seen at the TJ Meenach Bridge, and authorities say that he was wearing a life jacket.
The Spokane Fire Department has a water rescue crew on the scene, and the Sheriff's helicopter has joined the search. KHQ has a crew on the scene and will bring you more information as soon as it becomes available.
