Police Release New Photo In Sunset Bridge Murder Case

SPOKANE, Wash. - Spokane Police Major Crimes detectives are asking for any information in the homicide investigation of William Pickard. The photograph released is the restraint that was found on the body.

Major Crimes detectives wish for anyone with any information regarding this restraint to contact Crime Check at 456 2233.

Spokane Police Major Crimes Detectives need assistance locating the vehicle belonging to the man found near Latah Creek yesterday morning. 

The vehicle is a 2007 white Mercury Mariner - WA license plate 378-YVZ.

The victim has been identified as 38-year-old William P. Pickard. The Major Crimes Unit is investigating the suspicious death as a homicide at this point and the investigation is continuing.

Anyone who has any information about the whereabouts of the vehicle or the incident itself is asked to call Crime Check 456-2233.

    BOISE, Idaho (AP) - Almost two years after a toddler disappeared during a camping trip with his family, investigators plan to return to the campsite to search for new evidence.  Lemhi County Sheriff Steve Penner told KTVB-TV last week that deputies will return to the campground outside of Leadore, Idaho once the weather improves.

    COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho - Deputies and fire crews from Northern Lakes Fire department responded to a report of an airplane in distress around 4 p.m. It was reported to the Coeur d'Alene Airport by the pilot, identified as 62-year-old James T. Ostrich from Redding, California, that he had a possible landing gear issues.
