Fed. Govt: Work To Drill Relief Well To Plug Blown-Out Well Must Go Forward

NEW ORLEANS (AP) - The federal government says work must go forward on a relief well meant to permanently plug BP's blown-out well in the Gulf of Mexico.

Retired Coast Guard Adm. Thad Allen said during a news conference Friday that the well has not yet been killed.

BP had been evaluating whether the mud and cement pumped in from above the leak may have essentially killed the well. But Allen says engineers should continue drilling relief wells for the so-called "bottom kill," though he said officials were still evaluating how to best move forward with the operation.

Work on the wells was stopped this week because of bad weather.

KHQ.COM - Cards Against Humanity is known for unique stunts around this time of year. In years past, in an effort to combat Black Friday, they've had people send them $5 and literally sent nothing in return. Just like they said they would.  They've also mailed people poop in a box. 30,000 bought it.  They've even raised $100,000 to dig a giant hole in the ground.
