69 Year-Old Man Killed in Combine Accident - Spokane, North Idaho News & Weather KHQ.com

WHITMAN COUNTY, Wash. - 69 year-old Irvin Bailey of St. John died Saturday after accidentally being run over by a combine. According to Whitman County Deputies, several people were performing maintenance on a combine, when Bailey climbed onto the combine to close an engine panel. The driver of the combine was unaware of Bailey's position and began to move forward which caused Bailey to fall to the ground and he was run over by the rear tire of the combine.

Emergency medical crews and Med Star were dispatched to the scene. Bailey was flown to Sacred Heart where he later died.
