Teen Dies In Boat Crash On Snake River
LEWISTON, Idaho (AP) - Authorities say a 15-year-old Lewiston boy was killed when two boats collided on the Snake River last weekend.
The identity of the victim and cause of death has not yet been released by authorities.
But the Asotin County (Wash.) Sheriff's Office says a boat driven by 34-year-old Gordon J. Higheagle, of Lapwai, collided Saturday night with a boat carrying the teen victim.
The Lewiston Tribune reports that Higheagle is being held in the Asotin County Jail pending the conclusion of the investigation.
