UPDATE: 8 Year-Old Girl Who Went Missing Near Colville Has Been Found

STEVENS COUNTY, Wash. - The Stevens County Sheriff's Office is reporting that Paige Wilson, the 8-year-old who went missing from the Flodelle Creek Campground Friday afternoon, has been found alive. We are awaiting further details on this story and will bring you the latest as soon as it becomes available.

STEVENS COUNTY, Wash. - The Stevens County Sheriff's Office, Stevens County Explorer Search and Rescue along with the U.S. Border Patrol and numerous other agencies have been searching for a missing 8-year-old girl since yesterday. Paige Wilson was last seen around 4:30 PM Friday in the Flodelle Creek Campground which is located approximately 20 miles East of Colville on Highway 20.

Paige Wilson is described as 4' tall, 50-60 pounds, slight build, dark complexion, dark brown medium hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a light blue shirt with pink lettering that says "Someone in Hawaii Loves Me." She was also wearing pink shorts and pink and white Nike tennis shoes.

The search for Paige Wilson continues. Anyone who may have seen Paige during or after the time frame she was reported missing is asked to call the Sheriff's Office at 509-684-2555 or 1-800-572-0947.

That suspect was identified as 27-year-old Joel C. Taitch. He was found blocks away from the crime scene and booked for 2nd degree murder.
