Iranian President Offers Friendship to the U.S.

CAIRO - Iran's president is quoted by an Arabic satellite channel as saying he offers friendship to the U.S. However, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad also taunted Washington by saying he does not fear an attack by the U.S. because it could not even defeat a small army in Iraq, according to Al Jazeera television.

The station aired an interview with Ahmadinejad Sunday in Arabic translation from the original Farsi.

An emotional plea from Dave Bennett. “You've got a whole family, literally thousands of people, not just your immediate family who are in grave concern for you right now and love you so much and are so worried about you,” he said. It’ll be two weeks this Friday since Bennett last saw his daughter.
