Highway Accident In Stevens County Injures 6

STEVENS COUNTY, Wash. - Six people were injured in a car crash Saturday evening in Stevens County. According to Washington State Patrol, 73-year-old Otto Sieber crossed the center line of Highway 25 and hit a car from the southbound lane head-on. Neither Sieber or his 11-year-old passenger were wearing seatbelts. Sieber was taken to Sacred Heart by Medstar, and his passenger was taken to St. Joseph Hospital in Chewelah.

The other vehicle involved, a pickup towing a boat, was driven by 30-year-old Kenneth Collins of Airway Heights. Collins, along with his passengers, 30-year-old Jeannine Collins, a 5-year-old female and a 1-year-old female, were taken to St. Joseph Hospital by ambulance. All of them were wearing seatbelts.

At this time, the conditions of all parties is unknown.

    A Florida mother blames the death of her 15-year-old daughter on what she calls confusing packaging for Reese's Chips Ahoy cookies.    Kelli Travers-Stafford says her daughter Alexi mistakenly ate one of the cookies at a friend's house despite her peanut allergy, because the top of the familiar red packaging was peeled back, hiding the Reese's label.

    SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. - The Washington State Patrol is investigating a Spokane Valley massage parlor for sex trafficking and prostitution. According to court documents, several men contacted authorities about the parlor, Space Oil Massage, and told them that the women who worked there asked them in private to call 911 because they were being forced to perform sex acts against their will.
