TACOMA, Wash. (AP) - A suspicious package inside a Tacoma government building has led authorities to evacuate the County-City Building and block off streets in the area. Pierce County sheriff's spokesman Ed Troyer told The News Tribune that court proceedings for the rest of the day have been canceled. The sheriff's bomb disposal team is investigating. A crate addressed to government lawyers and delivered to the building was X-rayed and found to contain multiple wires.

ADAMS COUNTY, Wash. - The Washington State Patrol one person has died following a one-car collision south of Ritzville Monday morning.
