73-Year-Old Arrested After 2 Crashes In 2 Days
KALISPELL, Mont. (AP) - A 73-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of criminal endangerment after authorities say she caused two automobile crashes in two days.
The Daily Inter Lake reports that Janet Vornbrock of Bigfork was booked into the Flathead County Detention Center on Friday and was being held on a $25,000 bond.
Authorities say the vehicle Vornbrock was driving crossed the U.S. 2 centerline east of West Glacier on Friday afternoon and sideswiped a car.
Court documents say Vornbrock caused another two-vehicle crash two days earlier. Authorities say Vornbrock was unable to tell police what happened in either crash.
Criminal endangerment, a felony, carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison and a $50,000 fine.
