Police Arrest Teen In Flag Burning Case
BOISE, Idaho (AP) - Police say a teen has been arrested in connection to vandalism at three public schools and other properties in west Boise, including the burning of American flags.
Alejandro S. Andonaegui, 18, was being held at the Ada County Jail early Thursday and faces a felony charge of malicious injury to property.
Police say authorities found Andonaegui at about 9 p.m. Wednesday at Pioneer Elementary carrying spray paint in his bag. The school is one of three that reported damage earlier this month.
Police say they believe Andonaegui is also responsible for vandalism at a Boise church and two parks.
