Drum Roll....And The Nominees For The 2011 Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame Are...

USATODAY.COM - Shock-rock pioneer Alice Cooper, New Orleans legend Dr. John, Boston's rocking J. Geils Band and disco songbird Donna Summer are among 15 nominees for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, reports USA TODAY's Edna Gundersen.

The Beastie Boys, Bon Jovi, Chic, Neil Diamond, Donovan, LL Cool J, Darlene Love, Laura Nyro, Joe Tex, Tom Waits and Chuck Willis also will be on a ballot sent to 500-plus voters to determine the 2011 class. To be eligible, an act must have released its first recording at least 25 years before its nomination.

    NEWMAN LAKE, Wash. - Investigators are still trying to determine the cause of a fatal crash that happened north of Newman Lake Wednesday afternoon, but they say speed was likely a factor.  Investigators on scene say an SUV was traveling at a high rate of speed heading west on Muzzy Road when the driver missed a curve and slammed into a tree.
