Seattle Officer Out To Dinner Saves Choking Man
SEATTLE, Wash. - A Seattle police officer credits his first aid training in saving a man who was choking at a restaurant.
Police say Sgt. Bryan Clenna was having dinner Wednesday when he noticed other people trying to help the choking man who lost consciousness.
The officer performed the Heimlich maneuver for nearly a minute until the airway opened and the man revived. Responding firefighters say the sergeant saved the man's life.
