An employer, located on Fairchild Air Force Base, is currently seeking several experienced part time Cashiers/ Food Services workers to join their team. Job duties include: Bus tables; wash pots/pans; operate dishwasher; serve food, perform cashier duties; basic cleaning such as cleaning walls, floors, bathrooms, sweeping, mopping, etc. The need is immediate.

 SALARY / WAGE / BENEFITS:

HOURS / DAYS / SCHEDULE:

Position is part time to start with the potential to work into a full time position within six (6) months. Work days and shifts vary - can be 5:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. OR 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. OR 9:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.

FAFB seeking a Cook FT Duties to include coordinating assigned recipes for daily production needs.  Assemble ingredients, utensils and equipment needed for production area.  Follow Air Force recipes and production orders, weigh, measure, mix and combine ingredients.  Responsible for production of meats, soups, vegetables, fruits, sauces, gravies, salads, desserts, and specialty sandwiches.  Evaluate completed products for quality in taste, consistency, appearance, high quality standard.  Follow portion control, food safety and sanitation requirements.  Ensure kitchen equipment and utensils are properly used and maintained.  Keep work area clean, sanitary and free of spills.  Record food usage and leftovers on production sheet.

SALARY / WAGE / BENEFITS:

Pay rate is $15.02/hour. Position has union benefits to include medical, dental, vision, paid holidays and vacation pay after one year.

A North Spokane educational institution is currently recruiting for an Executive Chef. Establishes presentation technique and quality standards for all prepared food items prior to leaving the kitchen. Ensures that quality culinary dishes are served on schedule and rectifies any problems that arise. Prepares nutritious meals for the students. Selects, develops and maintains recipes and menus on a computer system and updates periodically. Calculates the total costs for student functions and food extras; prices banquet menus. Maintains clean health standards in compliance with the government regulations. Monitors all safety issues in the kitchen area. Trains and supervises the kitchen staff. Schedules the working hours of kitchen staff on a regular basis. Ability to manage in a diverse environment with focus on client and customer services. Orders food and supplies for the kitchen.  Approves, reviews and signs kitchen invoices. Keeps an inventory of food on computer. Monitors food rotation and cost increases.
