SPOKANE, Wash. - The mother of a missing Spokane woman is not giving up hope to find her daughter. In a new plea for help, Jackie Forney, the mother of 39-year-old Heather Higgins, feels that there is someone out there that knows something about the disappearance of her daughter. Speaking with KHQ on Thursday Forney stressed for folks to take another look at her daughter's photo hoping that it may trigger some sort of memory.

Her family has not had any contact with her since September 20th and are concerned for her welfare. Heather was last seen leaving her apartment complex at 10th & Cherry on the Lower South Hill.

"Heather would never abandon her apartment with all of her belongings, especially her two cats," said Forney.

Forney says Heather has not contacted any of her close friends or family and that her daughter suffers from Bi-Polar and may be off of her medication.

"I'm not giving up to find my daughter," says Forney. Forney feels that Heather is an endangered adult that needs help immediately. "We love Heather very much and are severely grieving, we just want her to come home," said Forney.
