SPOKANE, Wash. - Tyler Green took the opening kickoff 94 yards for a touchdown and Mt. Spokane never looked back, beating Lewis & Clark 34-14 in the early game at Joe Albi Stadium Friday night.
After scoring on the opening drive, Chase Naccarato scored on a three yard run to make the score 14-0 at the end of the first quarter. The Wildcats extended their lead to 21-0 in the second quarter with a 7-yard touchdown pass from Carson Blumenthal to Dan Moore.
The Tigers didn't score a point until Ammar Johnson ran one in from five yards out to make the score 21-7 in the third quarter.
Blumenthal finished the game with 149 yards passing on 15 attempts - no interceptions.
Ammar Johnson ran 23 times for 81 yards for Lewis & Clark, who fell to 3-4 on the season.
Mt. Spokane has already secured the top seed going into the 3A playoffs with a record of 6-1.

Gonzaga Prep 48, North Central 7 The Bullpups' Bishop Sankey returned a punt 57-yards for a touchdown in the first quarter, and then followed that up with three more touchdown runs to lead Gonzaga Prep past North Central 48-7. Sankey ended the night with 274 yards rushing on 31 carries.
