POST FALLS, Idaho - Kootenai County Fire and Rescue were dispatched to the intersection of Hayden and Greensferry Saturday evening for a reported 2-car crash.

When they arrived they found that a 2000 Pontiac Montana minivan, driven by 19-year-old Michael Lyman, failed to stop at a posted stop sign and collided with a 2006 Toyota Camry, driven by 34-year-old Rebekah Bryant.

Michael Lyman and his passenger, 57-year-old Candice Lyman, were transported by ambulance to Kootenai Medical Center in Coeur d'Alene. Michael was treated and released, while Candice is still being treated.

Rebekah Bryant and her passenger, 60-year-old Jacqueline Bryant, had to be extricated from the Camry before they could be transported to Kootenai Medical Center. Both are still being treated and the extent of their injuries and medical status is not known.

Authorities say that neither speed nor alcohol appear to be factors in the crash, however, Michael Lyman was cited for failing to stop at a posted stop sign and failing to display insurance information.
