Eagles Climb to No. 8, Still Behind Montana

Eastern Washington , fresh off a come-from-behind victory over Northern Colorado, is No. 8 in the latest FCS standings, released Monday morning.

Appalachian State is No. 1, followed by Deleware, Jacksonville State, William & Mary and Stephen F. Austin.

Montana, who lost to Eastern Washington in the Eagles home opener, is No. 7. Montana State, which lost to Northern Arizona 34-7 on Saturday fell from No. 9 to No. 15. Northern Arizona is No. 22 and Cal Poly is No. 23.

Eastern Washington plays at home Saturday against Sacramento State.
