Car Hit by Pickup Near Stateline Car Hit by Pickup Near Stateline

SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. - One eastbound lane of I-90 near Stateline was blocked for a short time Monday due to a rollover crash. Washington State Patrol officers tell KHQ that the car that rolled over was the victim of a hit and run. Troopers say the victim vehicle was headed westbound when it was suddenly struck by a pickup truck. The car spun out of control and flipped into and across the median where it was finally stopped by the cable barrier in the eastbound lanes.

Amazingly, the driver of the car that flipped walked away from the wreck with no injuries.

WSP says they are looking for the suspect vehicle.  It's described as a newer model, black pickup truck and that it should have some damage to it on its right-front side. When asked if they believe the driver of the pickup knew he had hit something, Troopers responded that there was no way he/she couldn't have known.
