UPDATE: Post Falls Couple Believed To Be Case Of Murder/Suicide

POST FALLS, Idaho - The Post Falls Police Department says they are investigating the discovery of two bodies in a Post Falls rental house as a murder/suicide.

On Thursday afternoon officers responded to a 911 call at 509 E. 11th Ave. in Post Falls by the landlord of the house who was there as part of an eviction process and stated that he believed the renters were deceased inside the home.

When officers arrived they found 54-year-old Jeffery A. Hayes and 38-year-old Christina Mandriguez dead from gunshot wounds to the head. A handgun was found in the area of both bodies and based upon other evidence at the scene, it is believed that this is a case of murder/suicide.

Post Falls Police are continuing their investigation.
