An industry leader in paper and packaging products is seeking a Customer Service Rep / Merchandiser to provide sales support and merchandising for the Spokane branch. Responsibilities include; Process all orders in an efficient manner. Use proper telephone etiquette and techniques to answer customer service calls in a timely, polite and professional manner. Work closely with all areas of the operation to ensure consistent, high quality service to our customers. Expedite and track orders to ensure timely delivery to customers. Recommend substitute or alternative inventory to customers, striving to save backorders. Conduct extensive follow-up on backorders, morning deliveries, quotes and contact sales representatives to ensure customer satisfaction and increased sales. Respond to inquiries for product pricing and availability. Process quotations to obtain cost and availability on all non-stock products quotations received via fax or phone for outside sales reps. Work with and negotiate with vendor reps as needed. Develop and build vendor relationship. Keep management informed on market conditions. Enter non-stock Direct & Indirect sales orders in system. Upon credit approval, create purchase order; confirm `purchase order` receipt. Monitor form creation to invoicing. Responsible for the accuracy of the purchase orders issued to ensure prompt billing to customer and invoke payment to vendor. Process requests for credit and product returns in a timely and complete manner. Coordinate returns with vendors on non-stock products. Seek methods of solutions to problems in order to improve service level to our customers. Process requests for duplicate invoices and proofs of delivery. Adhere to all company purchasing and inventory management policies and procedures. Perform additional duties as assigned by management. Housing and Landlord Tenant Laws. Light maintenance will be required on occasion.

 SALARY / WAGE / BENEFITS:

Salary is depending on experience. Competitive Medical Benefits package, 401K Plan, Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Assistance Programs in place.

 HOURS/DAYS/SCHEDULE:

Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The qualified applicant will have experience with table saw, ripsaw and other cabinet making equipment (journey level) doing cutout of cabinet parts for custom cabinets from cut list. Must have the ability to cutout and assemble all types of custom cabinet parts including radius parts, mantles, custom detailing and final assembly. You will be able to work independently and on several projects simultaneously.

SALARY/WAGE/BENEFITS:

Wage is between $12 and $16 DOE.

 HOURS / DAYS / SCHEDULE:

Work hours 7:30am to 3:30pm Mon thru Fri.
