YOUR FORECAST: Expect Low Clouds, Freezing Fog & Frost; Drivers Beware

KHQ WEATHER AUTHORITY: On Veterans Day commemorative activities should be good to go except during the morning commute. Expect areas of poor visibility and frost buildup/slick conditions on bridges, overpasses and leaf-covered roadways. Improving conditions by mid-morning with partly cloudy skies the rest of the day. The "Stars and Stripes" should wave nicely with Southerly winds 8-12mph. Low/High 28°/42°.

Friday: Looks like an early morning rain/snow mixture (Snow levels 2500ft).  Drying and thinning cloud cover is forecast by afternoon, followed by large late afternoon sun breaks and breezy southwesterly winds 10-15mph. Low/High, 32°/40°.

Weekend: Primarily quiet

Saturday: Mostly cloudy with a "slight" chance for midday sprinkles, but the best chance remains along the US/Canadian border. Low/High 29°/41°.

Sunday: Cloudy, foggy morning…Partly to mostly cloudy afternoon. Low/High 29°/42°.

    SPOKANE, Wash. - A Spokane woman is speaking out after she was dragged about 20 feet by a car, and nearly run over, after purse snatching. Kathy Kohlieber broke her pelvis and had to be sent to Multicare Valley Hospital. She’s been there since the incident Saturday evening around 5 p.m. Kathy says she went to Walmart, “to get a bag of Cosmos caramel corn, which is so good.”
