Parents, 2 Kids Found Shot To Death In Western Pennsylvania

ERIE, Pa. - Police in western Pennsylvania say a mother, father and their two daughters have been found shot to death in what appears to be a murder-suicide. Erie County Coroner Lyell Cook identified the dead as a 29-year-old man, a 27-year-old woman and two girls, ages 4 and 7.

He says they died from gunshot wounds in a home late Saturday morning. Cook says the children's father is believed to be the shooter. He says a 2-year-old boy was taken to the hospital with a minor injury.

The names of the victims are not being released until family is notified. Erie is located on the banks of Lake Erie about 25 miles east of the Ohio border.
