Spokane Firefighters Make Concessions To Save Jobs
SPOKANE, Wash. - According to City of Spokane Spokesperson, Marlene Feist, Spokane mayor Mary Verner has accepted a tentative agreement with the Spokane Firefighters Union. The agreement will prevent layoffs of any firefighter that are currently working.
The deal still needs to be ratified by the union's full membership and by city council. If it's approved the agreement wouldn't apply to current open positions.
