OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE FROM SPD: On Friday morning the Spokane Police Department received a call of an attempted abduction in the area of Euclid and Altamont.  A little girl (3rd grader) was walking to school with her brother around 8:30am. 
The brother forgot his jacket and quickly ran home to get it. The little girl was then approached by a male holding his arms out towards her. The little girl was able to run away and was joined by her brother. They ran to school to report the incident. 
The suspect was described as a, Caucasian male, tall, late twenties to early thirties, no facial hair, wearing blue jeans and a brown coat that looks similar to a work or hunting type jacket.
