City Ends Plowing Work
OFFICIAL NEWS RELEASE: The City of Spokane this morning lifted its Stage 1 Snow Emergency. Although they didn't plow on every street, City Street crews did drive the entire City and moved slush and ice as needed.
Today, City crews will concentrate on clearing storm drains and dealing with large puddles of standing water.
Residents are asked to clear drains of ice and snow near their properties. Large puddles can be reported to the City Wastewater Management Department at 625-7900. Motorists should slow down around standing water and should try to avoid the puddles when possible.
As always during the winter, City Street Department officials will continue to monitor weather conditions 24 hours a day.
