Comfort Inn Robbed At Gun Point; Suspect On The Loose

SPD RELEASE: On Wednesday night just before 10pm a man armed with a gun entered the Comfort Inn lobby and demanded money. Spokane Police responded to the Inn, 7111 N. Division, within minutes of the call, but were unable to locate the suspect.

The clerk described the suspect as a white male, 5'10" to 6'00", mid twenties, clean shaven, wearing a red baseball cap, black shirt and black pants.

The suspect approached the hotel clerk, demanded and received cash, and fled out the back door.

Two days ago, a man entered the Days Inn, 120 West 3rd Ave, demanded and received cash from the hotel clerk and fled prior to police arrival. Both robberies are being investigated by the Spokane Police Major Crimes Unit, but detectives have not confirmed if the two robberies are related.
