>>>SLIDESHOW: The Life Of Mackenzie Cowell

KHQ.COM - Today marks the one year anniversary of the disappearance of 17-year-old Mackenzie Cowell from Wenatchee.

Her body was found on a bank along the Columbia River at Crescent Bar. It took investigators eight months to find and arrest a suspect, 29-year-old Christopher Wilson. Wilson is scheduled to be in court soon for a readiness hearing. Wilson's murder trial starts March 8th.

Investigators also made a second arrest. Detectives say evidence shows that 22-year-old Tessa Schuyleman knew about Cowell's murder and may have even helped Wilson clean up a blood stain in his apartment.

Two videos were found on Tessa Schyleman's cell phone by investigators. In the first video recorded on June 26th, Schuyleman is entering Wilson's apartment, moving aside a coffee table, and focusing on a clearly visible stain of dried blood on the floor, according to police.

The second video, shot four days later shows Wilson asking Schuyleman if the apartment is clean.

According to investigators, Schuyleman replies, "Considering what happening?" At the end of the second video, Schuyleman focuses on the area where the blood stain was and the stain was only slightly visible, indicating to investigators that it had been cleaned.
