Spokane Valley Dollar Tree Robbed at Gunpoint

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. - Spokane Valley Police are searching for an armed robber who stole an unknown amount of money from the Dollar Tree in the 9200 block of E. Montgomery. The robbery happened around 7:15 Wednesday night. Police called in canine units to assist in the search. 

Authorities say the suspect waited outside the store for a time before entering. There were three employees in the store at the time of the robbery. Police say the suspect had the gun in his waistband and displayed it to employees but never pulled it out.

The suspect is described as a white man in his 20's, 5'10", skinny with a thick reddish-blonde goatee.  He was wearing blue jeans and a tan Carhardt-style coat with a hoodie underneath the coat with the hood pulled up.

    SPOKANE, Wash. - Spokane Police have arrested a juvenile in connection to a fatal shooting in downtown Spokane on Tuesday, according to our partners at The Spokesman Review.  The boy, whose name and age have not been released, is facing a charge of 2nd Degree Manslaughter.  Police believe the juvenile shot and killed a man inside a parked car near Washington and Spokane Falls Blvd.

    SPOKANE, Wash. - Update: Police say one person is dead after a shooting Tuesday afternoon in downtown Spokane. It happened near W. Main Ave. and N. Washington St around 3:45 p.m. Police say a person was found with a gunshot wound in the area and was pronounced dead shortly after.
