Wrong-Way Driver Killed in I-5 Marysville Crash
MARYSVILLE, Wash. (AP) - A wrong-way driver was killed and two other drivers injured in a collision on Interstate 5 at Marysville that blocked the southbound lanes Friday morning for four hours.
Washington State Patrol Trooper Keith Leary says a driver was going north in the southbound lanes shortly after 5 a.m. when he collided with two other vehicles. The 43-year-old Everett man was killed.
The Daily Herald reports the two injured drivers, a Marysville man and Stanwood woman, were taken to Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett. They are expected to recover from their
KOMO Radio reports traffic near the Tulalip Casino backed up four miles before the freeway reopened about 9 a.m.
