SPOKANE, Wash. - Ryan Wagner, Josh Harbolt and Jonathan Ray used an iPhone 4 to record what could be one of the most amazing trick shots you've ever seen. The best part about it? The video posted on YouTube is in no way edited.
The trio of teens in Medical Lake recorded a shot that went over a two story house and through a small, plastic basketball hoop in Harbolt's back yard. It took well over 100 tries to make the shot, Ray admitted. He deleted the recorded attempts after every 15 tries
Wagner was the one who threw the ball over the house.
The teens uploaded the video on ESPN's SportsNation Facebook page. After that, they watched the views double.
Their trick shot is the latest in a string of amazing feats featured on YouTube and other sports sites across the country. There's the UConn quarterback, who hits a variety of targets with a football; the kickball trick shot by the Gonzaga women's basketball team; and the trick shot by a long snapper from Washington State's football team - just to name a few.
Some of the trick shots circulating on the Internet appear to be edited. Many aren't retouched in any way. But all of them are entertaining, at least.
