Zip Trip Armed Robbery On N. Hamilton
OFFICIAL NEWS RELEASE: On Sunday officers from the Spokane Police Department responded to a report of a robbery in progress at the Zip Trip store located at 2005 N. Hamilton. The victim clerk advised that the suspect fled on foot. Officers responded to the area and a K-9 track was attempted but unsuccessful.
The clerk stated that the suspect entered the store when no other customers were present. The suspect demanded money and displayed a firearm. The clerk handed over the cash drawer and the suspect took the money that was inside. The suspect then fled.
The clerk described the suspect as a white male, skinny, wearing a green plaid hooded jacket.

SPOKANE, Wash. - The Spokane County Sheriff's Office says they have arrested a 39-year-old man for sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl. Last month, detectives received information from the Post Falls Police Department naming Jeffrey A. Christenot as a suspect in the sexual assault of a 12-year-old girl in 2015-2016. An Idaho man is in the hospital after being shot while elk hunting near Harrison, Idaho. On October 15, Kootenai County Sheriff’s deputies received a call from a 31-year-old man who said he’d accidentally shot his hunting partner, 20-year-old Nicholas Christensen of Potlach, Idaho.
