About the SWX Cricket Student Athlete of the Month

SWX and Cricket Wireless are pleased to recognize student athletes in the Inland Northwest who demonstrate admirable qualities as both a student and an athlete.

All candidates are nominated and recognized by their respective schools. Then, each month, we randomly highlight a student and his or her accomplishments. Students are honored just as much for their successes of the field or court as they are for what they do in competition.

The selected student athletes will be recognized at the beginning of each month on TV - both on KHQ Local News and SWX. Their stories and accomplishments will also be archived on SWXRightNow.com.

Each winner receives a plaque from Cricket Wireless. And his or her school receives the SWX Cricket Cup traveling trophy for the month during which they're recognized.

To all the student athletes in the Inland Northwest, we salute you and congratulate you for a job well done - both on and off the court or playing field.
