Missing Vulnerable Adult Found

UPDATE: The missing disabled vulnerable adult, 24-year-old Mollie Torkelson, has been located.  Several citizens called to report seeing Mollie near Monroe and Sinto.  Officers responded and found Mollie in the area of the 1400 block of N. Lincoln. The Spokane Police Dept. wants to thank everyone who called to help locate her. She is now safe back at home.

eLertSPD NEWS RELEASE: Spokane Police are asking for assistance in locating a developmentally disabled vulnerable adult.

24-year-old Mollie Torkelson has been missing from her home in the 1400 block of N Adams since Wednesday. Her caretaker is concerned about her welfare due to Mollie's mental state. Mollie has never done this before and does not have a bus pass. She operates at the level of a six-year-old. 

Mollie is 5'9", 108 lbs, has long blonde hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a brown Carhartt jacket, jeans and black and silver tennis shoes.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Mollie Torkelson is asked to call 911 immediately.
