UPDATE: 2-Year-Old Boy Found Alone In The Streets Of The South Hill

SPOKANE, Wash. - The 2-year-old discovered wandering the streets of the south hill early Saturday morning has been reunited with his parents. Police say a man called them around 6:30 AM and told them he was babysitting the child and was not aware the child had got up in the middle of the night and left the home. After a complete investigation, police have determined that no crime was committed nor neglect detected.

SPOKANE, Wash. - A 2-year-old boy was found in the early morning hours of Saturday alone on the streets of Spokane's South Hill. Police were called to the area of 14th and Tacoma around 3:00 AM to find a boy by himself in the intersection. The was unable to give his name to officers, so police went door to door in the neighborhood for over 2 hours trying to locate the parents of the child, but were unsuccessful.

Child Protective Services were called to the scene and took custody of the child. Anyone with any information is asked to call Crime Check immediately at 456-2233.

KMGH-TV and the Daily Camera newspaper in Boulder reported the judge said in an order he would not tell the medical examiner's office involved in the case how to do its job.
