Head-on Crash Injures Three in Boundary County

BOUNDARY COUNTY, Idaho -Three women were injured in a head-on collision in Boundary County Friday afternoon.

Idaho State Police say Logan Moore, 20, of Thompson Falls, Montana, was speeding and driving under the influence on Eileen Road when his car fishtailed. His car crossed into on-coming traffic and hit another car head-on.

Moore and his passenger Thomas Elder, 17, fled the scene. They were later found in the area and arrested. Neither suspect was injured.

Jayme Hahn, 20, Kershanda Nicholson, 20, and Kaitlyn Fausett, 20, were all taken to Boundary Community Hospital.

Moore was charged with felony driving under the influence, felony leaving the scene of a crash, and possession of marijuana and paraphernalia. His passenger Thomas Elder, also of Thompson Falls, was charged with minor in possession of alcohol and leaving the scene of a crash.
