Spokane area members now also have the ability to shop from the comfort of their homes using our Home Shopping Program. The service enables members to place orders with DirectBuy vendors with complete access to catalog and pricing information, just as if they were in a DirectBuy club. Our Home Shopping agents can assist members via email (homeshopping@directbuy.com ), telephone (800-647-6733), and fax (219-755-6276), attn: Home Shopping) during the following extended hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00am - 9:00pm CST and Saturday/Sunday, 9:00am - 5:00pm CST.  Any orders placed through Home Shopping will be sent to our receiving partner who will be offering special rates on white glove home delivery to members of DirectBuy of Spokane.

All pending orders that were placed by members via DirectBuy of Spokane will be completed.  All orders that have yet to ship will be delivered to our receiving partner.  Any orders currently in the Spokane Valley warehouse will be transferred to our receiving partner immediately.  For any members that do have open orders, they will be contacted to arrange for pick up or delivery.  Members with any questions pertaining to an order can emailorderinfo@directbuy.com  or call 800-827-6400.     ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - Authorities say a Utah man killed his wife aboard a cruise ship and told an acquaintance who later walked into the blood-splattered cabin that he did it because she wouldn't stop laughing at him. A criminal complaint by an FBI special agent says Kenneth Manzanares was found in the couple's room on the Emerald Princess on Tuesday night with blood on his hands and clothes and blood spread throughout the cabin.

    COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho - A two-year-old girl from Coeur d'Alene is in critical but stable condition after getting hit by a vehicle in the parking lot of an apartment complex. The incident happened in the 600 block of W. Wilbur Avenue around 8:45pm.  When officers arrived on scene, life measures and CPR had already begun. Medical personnel with the Coeur d'Alene Fire Department arrived and immediately transported the girl to Kootenai Health.

    NEWMAN LAKE, Wash. - Investigators are still trying to determine the cause of a fatal crash that happened north of Newman Lake Wednesday afternoon, but they say speed was likely a factor.  Investigators on scene say an SUV was traveling at a high rate of speed heading west on Muzzy Road when the driver missed a curve and slammed into a tree.
